AdTech Welect strengthens publisher team with distinguished media experts

Düsseldorf, June 27, 2024. Welect, the leading provider of choice-driven online advertising, is expanding in the field of publisher management. Effective immediately, Thomas Utech as Senior Publisher Manager and Rafael Bergmann as Publisher and Supply Manager are reinforcing the team of the Düsseldorf-based AdTech company. In these newly created roles, both will manage existing partners, acquire new partnerships, and develop new advertising products that enable publishers to generate revenue streams from their digital content.

  • Thomas Utech has over ten years of professional experience in the fields of media and marketing (digital, TV, and print). Prior to his move to Welect, the trained marketing communication specialist worked for companies such as Azerion, Zenith, MediaCom, and Mindshare.
  • Rafael Bergmann brings approximately twenty-two years of professional experience in online media planning, digital sales, commercial marketing, and client consulting. Before joining Welect, the long-time sales expert worked for Equativ (formerly Smart), DynAdmic, GroupM Germany, iq digital media marketing, and publishers such as VICE and gofeminin.de.

Both report to Welect founder and CEO Olaf Peters-Kim.
